ABANDONING of babies a rising issue
Upper Highway Baby Home
The Hillcrest Fever recently covered a very serious and growing epidemic in our country. CASES of child abandonment in South Africa are on a dramatic rise and according to reports, there are around 3 500 children abandoned in South Africa every year.
But there is hope yet for the babies of the Upper Highway Area. Local Legend Kerry Stanton opened her heart to vulnerable babies and created the Upper Highway Baby Home, this organization offers so much more than a place of love and care.
Upper Highway Baby Home
A special NPO aimed to take care of babies in need while they wait for their forever families. The Upper Highway Baby Home offers community service programmes that allow individuals of all ages to get involved. Volunteers are always needed!
