⭐ Service Review ⭐
Panama Coffee & Eatery is a trendy container restaurant nestled in the grounds of Curro Hillcrest High School, just off Inanda Road.
After hearing rave reviews about this place, I couldn’t resist checking it out for myself. Despite its proximity to the parking lot, the restaurant gives off a serene and secluded vibe with a charming garden setting and ample shade provided by large trees. It’s the perfect escape from the stresses of a hectic day.
As soon as I arrived, I was captivated by beautiful decor and a modern setup but what truly impressed me was the friendly and welcoming staff who immediately made me feel right at home.
The menu was absolutely enticing with a tempting selection of freshly baked treats including croissants, brownies, tarts, and pastel de nata. Let’s not forget the star of the show: Milk tart donuts!
It was a tough decision, but we decided to indulge in refreshing iced coffees and savoury options.
The locals had highly recommended the Panama Cheese Burger, I can see why. It was divine! A thick and juicy patty complemented by plenty of pickles, lettuce, and a delicious tomato and herb relish with a slice of cheese to tie it all together. My colleague opted for a bacon and cheese sourdough toastie and couldn’t stop raving about the amazing sourdough bread.
What’s a carb-heavy meal without perfectly seasoned fries? We couldn’t resist ordering a side of those too!
An all-round delightful lunch.
Panama Coffee and Eatery is open to the public and quickly becoming the go-to spot for a nice lunch or snack. With its pleasant and inviting atmosphere and array of drinks and snacks, it’s no wonder it’s become a favourite for Curro parents and now the greater community too.
Visit Panama Monday – Saturday, between 6am and 6pm.
Be it for a sunny weekday meeting, or after that Saturday morning gym session, this place has got you covered.
Next time, I’ll definitely be indulging in their delicious-looking brownies.
