Talloula

Our first stop was the beautiful Talloula

It was a crisp cold morning but Treat Cafe at Talloula in Bothas Hill was warm and inviting.

So we could tell you about their wonderful goodies that are for sale or their friendly staff and beautiful spa but we here for scones (eye on the prizes)

Service: Princess was friendly and attentive. Scones arrived promptly

Scones: Perfect size scone. Interior of scone light and soft with a crumbly short exterior texture.

Jam: Beautifully textured strawberry jam for the one scone and a lemon and orange marmalade for the other scone. Both homemade! Was great to have the 2 options

Cream: Whipped cream with a hint of vanilla

Butter: REAL butter served at room temperature made for easy spreading.

Cheese: Big serving of strong cheddar cheese

All and all a great experience!
