Keeping it local, we had a very pleasant lunch at Steam and Cream Cafe Kloof today.
It’s super hot and Friday 😃 so we opted for Milkshakes rather than a coffee (we’ll return for the coffee ☕) 1 Chocolate and 1 Strawberry!
I had a chicken, bacon & mushroom stack served with chips and a side salad.
Two huge chicken fillets, with loads of crispy bacon and a rich creamy mushroom sauce, was way too much for me but great value for money. Tasty and well prepared.
My partner in crime had a cheesy beef lasagna, it was perfect. Very cheesy with a good balance of  cjallen636@gmail.com.
Our salads had ample olives and feta bonus as I love olives.
Total bill R210 not bad for 2 meals and 2 milkshakes.
The Steam and Cream Cafe Kloof is homely and friendly, it’s a spot to unwind and relax. The beautiful nursery and friendly staff provide for a great experience.
So next time you travel from Hillcrest to Kloof on the M13 take the Abrey rd turn off and pop in for milkshake at Steam and Cream Cafe Kloof.
