Simran Patel – Chief Operational Officer of Campus of Things
Simran Patel is the Chief Operational Officer of Campus of Things. Her journey to becoming a neuroscientist began five years ago. Although her initial qualification lies in psychology, she has since armed herself with a Masters in Neuroscience. As an aspiring neuroscientist, her passion lies in making a difference to the field of neuroscience by studying the brain’s neural circuitry during Alzheimers disease.
Aside from making a difference to the field of neuroscience, Simran wants to empower and inspire the next generation of woman in Africa to pursue STEM careers. With this in mind, she have co-founded an EdTech company – Campus of Things. Her purpose is to mobilise and create a community of change makers and emerging leaders, who share a common belief that quality education should be equally accessible and inclusive.
