Calling all equine enthusiasts, Mike from MDV Equestrian is coming to the Upper Highway!

Michael De Vrye is an Equine Cognitive Therapist that deals with problem horses across South Africa. Having worked with many clients and horses from all disciplines, Mike is equipped with the experience and knowledge to successfully assist any horse & rider overcome the challenges and problems that are holding them back from reaching their full potential.
An example of MDV’s work, in 2017 Mike worked with the prestigious Gogetthesheriff, a magnificent gelding and favourite among the Nelson Mandela Bay Racing Crowd that had issues at the starting stalls. After a few sessions with Mike, Gogetthesheriff ran on successfully.
In a bid to raise awareness, and to support a good cause, MDV will be hosting a 3-day workshop at the Coastal Horse Care Unit and proceeds from the workshop will be donated to CHCU. Mike will showcase his training methods as well as share some of his best secrets and training tips.
The morning workshop is open to spectators, there will be a demo and training session as well as Q&A’s. The afternoon will be exclusive to those who book a private session. So if you have a problem horse, now is your chance to get your problem sorted!
Mike De Vrye can assist with any Behavioural Issues including:

Anxiety
Nervousness
Backing
Aggression
Spookiness
Bad Manners
Refusing Jumps
and all other issues
This is also the perfect opportunity for those looking for a new horse as Mike will be working with some of the horses that are available for adoption at the Coastal Horse Care Unit.
