My name’s Kirsty Madsen, and I’m the proud owner of Beauty on Regent: a brand spanking new at-home beauty salon in Forest Hills specialising in brow and eyelash enhancement.
Back in 2002, while working for UNICEF’s Oil-for-Food Programme in Denmark, I began craving a creative outlet – and before long, I was refurbishing pieces of furniture left on the sidewalk for resale. Little did I know that this would be the start of two decades in the interior design and decorating field, during which I ran my own successful company that serviced both the private and commercial sector.
Then, about a year ago, I made the decision to redirect my creativity so that I could better juggle my two teenage boys’ increasingly demanding schedules.
And that’s how Beauty on Regent was born!
Having completed a variety of courses through The Lash Collection, I’m now just an eyelash-width away from receiving my certification. I currently offer brow and lash tinting, brow lamination, and classic lash extensions – I’ll be adding to that list in the near future, so watch this space.
